Feller-Höller was a member of the municipal council for 24 years from 1997 to 2021. Among other things, she was also a co-founder of the legendary cultural association “Ypsilon”. “It was Helga Feller-Höller’s merit that she politically demanded our social democratic values ​​- freedom, equality, justice and solidarity – and lived them personally. She was a progressive and self-confident woman,” says SPÖ district chairwoman Katrin Auer. Condolences now go to her husband Dieter and everyone who mourns her.

Helga Feller-Höller joined the SPÖ in 1980 at the age of 20. She was involved in the younger generation, chaired the district education organization from 1991 to 2007 and was a member of the SPÖ district party executive from 1991 to 2020. From 2001 to 2009 she was a member of the regional party executive committee of the SPÖ Upper Austria. Last year, Helga Feller-Höller was honored with the Victor Adler plaque, the highest award of social democracy.
