Biathlon star runs at the Traunsee

Ebensee, Gmunden. The 2009 biathlon mass start world champion and multiple Olympic medalist Dominik Landertinger will also take part in the fifth edition of the Traunsee Half Marathon on June 24th and celebrate his debut over the exactly 21.0975 kilometer distance.

“I only spent my family vacation in the Salzkammergut last year,” says the 3,000 and 10,000 meter runner from Landerting. “The area is really beautiful. I’m already looking forward to my half marathon debut at Lake Traunsee and I’ll enjoy the run into the sunset.”

The run from Ebensee to Gmunden, which traditionally starts on the longest Saturday of the year at 7.08 p.m. Registrations at www.traunsee-halbmarathon.at
