It was around 7:15 p.m. when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Linzer Straße and the B126. A probationary driver’s license holder, who was driving with two other people in the car from the center of Bad Leonfelden (district of Urfahr area) in the direction of the B126, collided with the car of a 34-year-old from Linz when turning left onto the main road. There were three other occupants in the man’s car.
Ambulance and rescue on duty
Four people sustained such serious injuries that after first aid by the emergency doctor they had to be taken to the hospital in Freistadt in three ambulances. The collision was so severe that both cars were no longer drivable. The badly damaged cars were towed away, police said on Monday morning.
