The government coalition agreed to prioritize in the Constitution and Legislation Commission of the Senate the bill for home prison for those over 65 years of age that promotes Town meeting (AC). The initiative would be dealt with on April 11after the Tourism Week recess, and CA would request its approval as a bargaining chip for its legislators to support the vote on the social security reform.

This initiative is controversial, since would reach more than 20 people who were convicted of crimes against humanitysomething that, as he warned International Amnestyit could be a form of covert pardon, according to the document to which he accessed scope.com.

For his part, he National Party (PN), proposed modifying the bill towards “comprehensive house arrest”, and will try to convince the other members of the Multicolor Coalition to turn the discussion around his new proposal. In a second order, the project for the restructuring of debts to individuals, also proposed by CA, will be discussed.

PN leaders have shown their discontent with the current perception that CA is putting pressure on the government alliancein an attempt to impose their own interests as a condition to guarantee the feasibility of bills and, by extension, governability.

The government coalition looks askance at Cabildo Abierto

With the recent victory of CA regarding the extension in the discussion for the reform of social security, the nationalists feel that they were betrayed, since they understand that their partners continue to hinder one of the key projects of the reformist agenda of the government .

In turn, the lobbyists would have promised just hours before the extraordinary session yesterday afternoon that they would not ask for it and, instead, they agreed behind the back of the coalition with the broad front to get extra time.
