Animal rescuers are feeding three baby squirrels

Three young squirrels were lucky in misfortune at the weekend in St. Georgen an der Gusen (Perg district): All alone, weakened and scared, the little rodents were wandering around in a garden when they were discovered by an attentive family and in front of the house cat that lived there were brought to safety.

“The three must have lost their mother. They were already very dehydrated and weak,” says Freistadt Animal Rescue, which took care of the foundlings. The trio can now recover from the hardships at the animal shelter in Freistadt, where they are lovingly cared for and nurtured.
