Pope Francis will meet with the Prime Minister of Ukraine and travel to Hungary

He will do so on the eve of a three-day trip to Hungary, Budapest, where he will face Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The Supreme Pontiff will try to officiate as a mediator in the war with Ukraine.

In an attempt to act as a go-between, the Pope Francisco will meet this Thursday with the Prime Minister of UkraineDenys Shmyhal, and then he will speak with Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary and one of Vladimir Putin’s main allies in Europe.
