Tomorrow evening, the Ohlsdorf municipal council will deal, among other things, with the financial statement for the year 2022. Finance Committee Chairman Robert Staribacher (ÖVP) can present pleasing figures: the municipality has been debt-free since December 13th – for the first time in many decades.
The ÖVP Ohlsdorf claims budgetary restructuring for itself. The local party explained in a broadcast that she took over the finance committee 14 years ago with a debt of more than 14 million euros. Since then, the budget has been “consistently consolidated” – and “nevertheless, significant infrastructure investments were made during this period”. At the same time, it was possible to build up own funds for future projects.
