Now it’s fixed: The 54-year-old will succeed Josef Hamedinger in Andorf from the coming season. Most recently, Straif, who even worked as an assistant coach for second division club Blau-Weiss Linz in the 2017/18 season, was on the coaching bench at SK Schärding. As reported, Straif ended his work at Andorfer’s local rivals at the beginning of April. Although he wasn’t actively looking for a new job, Zeller couldn’t and didn’t want to say no to Andorfer’s offer. “After all, I have a nice past with Andorf,” says Straif, who wants to use the time until summer to ride a motorbike, play tennis and go away at the weekend. “That’s the end of it then.”
