“The first traffic jams will start to appear along the road as early as Thursday evening Transit routes to the south occur, according to ÖAMTC experts. First wave of travel
For 3.8 million schoolchildren from the German federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, Whit Monday marks the start of the Whitsun holidays. ARBÖ experts expect two travel waves in Austria. The first will therefore “run” or more or less stand on the city motorways and city exits of the provincial capitals and Vienna from Friday afternoon.
