It is the second formula accepted, since a month ago the GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical. In this case, the vaccine is from the laboratory Pfizer, and will be granted exclusively to older adults. According to the medical company, it is 85% effective in preventing serious cases of the disease.

For its part, GlaxoSmithKline reported an effectiveness of 83% in the prevention of lower respiratory tract infections, and mild side effects, such as fatigue, muscle pain or headaches. For now, neither of the two doses is available in Argentina.

What is bronchiolitis and how does it work?

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a highly contagious virus known to cause bronchiolitis, or infection of the bronchioles in Small children and older adults in the winter. In minors it usually causes mild symptoms, but for adults it can be complicated, and even cause death.
