A 28-year-old driver from the Linz-Land district was driving into the city on Wiener Straße around 8:20 p.m. For unknown reasons, he crossed into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with the car of a 39-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district. Both drivers were seriously injured and taken to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz after receiving initial treatment.
Vienna Street closed
Wiener Straße had to be closed for around an hour and a half due to the rescue work. A diversion has been set up.
