Before Christmas, Andreas Wieland had terminated his coaching contract at Beerschot so that he could return to LASK as technical director. Luca Meisl has now also left the Belgian second division club: the 24-year-old central defender signed with Lustenau.

Andreas Heraf is supposed to avert relegation for the last team from Vorarlberg – for this task the coach now remembered his second former player from Rieder’s times: Leo Mikic had previously been signed. The offensive player moved to Jeonnam in South Korea after Ried’s relegation from the Bundesliga.

Meisl signed with Lustenau until summer 2025. He comes with the experience of 87 Bundesliga games: 86 for Ried, one game for Salzburg.
