After the Christmas break, the volleyball year for VCA Amstetten begins tomorrow, Wednesday. The Lower Austria derby against Union Waldviertel is on the program in Zwettl from 7 p.m. This will be followed by the home game against the Wörther-See-Löwen from Klagenfurt with the same points on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
“These are two cracking games. In the derby in Zwettl we can expect a full hall with frenetic home fans,” says sports director Michael Henschke, “but if I look at the table, the home game is the more important game.” After a messed up first half of the season, the Amstettners want to secure eighth place, which is important for the play-offs.
