According to the Ried public prosecutor’s office, the accused is said to have been active again in the National Socialist spirit in a Braunau community in 2022 and 2023. The 48-year-old is said to have committed a criminal offense several times by “displaying a swastika tattoo on the index finger of his left hand that was visible to third parties.”
The Nazi symbol could be seen through the curvature of the finger, according to the indictment. In addition, the accused is said to have told a relative that “he himself would have been the real second Adolf Hitler” and that foreigners should be killed and gassed. The public prosecutor’s office also accuses the man of having forwarded several photos with Nazi symbols on WhatsApp.
