A 35-year-old overlooked the woman on a sidewalk and cycle path when he wanted to turn onto Feldkircher Straße L 190.
The woman, who was wearing a helmet, hit her head on the windshield and was left unconscious. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died from her injuries there in the evening, according to police.
