Almost 4,000 schoolchildren took part in the Life Radio Event “Life am Berg”. The aim of this event was that the schoolchildren could try out other sports and activities in addition to skiing. We had set up a small hockey field and played against children and young people from all over Upper Austria.

In the bright sunshine, the ski area showed itself from its best side. Unfortunately, it’s still too early for me to be able to put on my skis. It would have tempted me, I have to say.

On Saturday we ended a great family day with two rounds of bowling and a good dinner.

During Sunday’s game I had the pleasure of explaining and talking about the art of changing lines. I also had a very nice interview with Puls24 during the second third break and was able to give a few insights into my ice hockey youth and my everyday life in rehab.

In terms of ice hockey, unfortunately, it wasn’t a very successful day. The distance to the top 6 increased and since the defeat against Szekesfehervar on Tuesday, unfortunately, they can no longer be reached.

The team has already come to terms with the situation and will of course prepare for the second leg against Szekesfehervar in the next few days, but at this time the pre-playoffs are already in the back of their minds. The aim is to continue the performances in Hungary at the weekend and get back in shape so that we can go into the extra round with a good feeling.

Monday was a normal training day for me. This time I was accompanied during the training by LT1, who made a contribution about my training compared to a hobby athlete.

A media-intensive week is coming to an end for me and a nerve-wracking week is ahead. Finally the time has come. The playoffs are about to start and I can’t wait.
