Motivation and employment: the importance of attractive workspaces

The growth of the Argentine fintechs It’s definitely exponential. Although it is not a new sector, the technology companies oriented to financial sector —hence the term “Fintech”, an abbreviated conjunction of the terms “finance” and “technology” in English— have evolved at an average rate of 45% per year since 2017, thus positioning itself as one of the most dynamic sectors of the Argentine economy.

According to the Argentine Chamber of Fintech, 2022 closed with more than 27,000 direct jobs in this sector, which implies a year-on-year growth rate of 15% compared to 2021 and 86% compared to 2020.

Today, companies face increasingly challenging environments where the pace of industry growth and hyper-competitiveness mean attracting and retaining the best talent. We believe it is necessary for the sector to adapt to changes, generating more efficient organizational cultures, providing a value proposition for employees. Which also means offering benefits that engage and motivate them.

This is why many Fintech companies not only aspire to generate attractive physical or virtual workspaces for their future employees, but also seek to build an entire labor ecosystem that fosters a shared vision and teamwork in pursuit of it.
