A woman and four children were hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning in Nizhny Novgorod. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region David Melik-Huseynov on Sunday, December 19.
“At 21:15 a signal came from Pushkin Street, 29A – five people were poisoned with carbon monoxide, four of them were children. At 21:20, the ambulance team began evacuating the mother and four children to the regional children’s hospital for examination, ”the minister said on his Instagram page.
He noted that this is the second carbon monoxide poisoning in the Nizhny Novgorod region in a day: on Sunday night in the village of Neklyudovo, four people, including a child, were poisoned.
On December 17, in Makhachkala, three children and one adult were poisoned by carbon monoxide. The incident took place on Irchi Kazak street. All victims were hospitalized in a medical facility. Some of them are in serious condition.
