On December 24, the Perovskiy District Court of Moscow issued a verdict against Zhafyar Borovkov in the case of beating up Anton Fetisov, the former PR director of the Spartak football club.
The criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health”). The court found Borovkov guilty and sentenced him to a two-year and six-month suspended sentence with a two-year probationary period.
The conflict occurred on May 9 at the exit from a Moscow restaurant in which Fetisov was resting with his wife and sister. The man tried to settle the quarrel between the participants in the fight, but Borovkov hit Fetisov several times on the head. The man was taken to the hospital, he was diagnosed with an open head injury.
On May 13, the attacker was placed under house arrest.
On December 22, the vice-president of Rostelecom Igor Zimin was beaten in a bar in Moscow after a remark from a noisy company. The conflict took place in an institution on Ozerkovskaya embankment. Zimin made a remark to a group of people who were making noise. In response, one of the men behaved aggressively and hit Zimin in the face several times.
The attacker turned out to be a resident of Nakhodka born in 1990.
