Tatiana T., a schoolgirl from the Stavropol Territory, invited to Moscow by Russian President Vladimir Putin, attended the premiere of Tatiana Navka’s ice show “Swan Lake”. This was announced on December 25 by the REN TV channel.
The audience was presented with an immersive ice performance with large-scale installations, animation, lighting effects and acrobatic performances. After the show, Navka invited 13-year-old Tanya to the ice, introducing her to the audience.
“I am incredibly happy that today she is here and received a charge of emotions. I really want you to get well and be with us every New Year. I invite you, ”she said, addressing the schoolgirl.
Earlier, on December 5, at the international forum “We Are Together,” Putin took part in the “Christmas Tree of Desires” action and chose three balloons with children’s wishes, which he is ready to fulfill. Among them was the dream of 13-year-old Tanya – to go to Swan Lake at the Mariinsky Theater.
On December 14, the president fulfilled this wish. The next day he called the schoolgirl and invited her to watch the performance of the same name on ice in addition to the Swan Lake ballet.
In January, a girl from a large family was diagnosed with a serious illness and is undergoing treatment in St. Petersburg. Tanya graduated from a choreographic school, entered a music school, is fond of ballet.
The wishes of other children, which Putin expressed his willingness to fulfill, have already come true. On December 21, 14-year-old Mark from the Moscow Region received a guitar, and on December 23, seven-year-old schoolboy Yegor from the Voronezh Region took a ride in a T-90 tank.
The All-Russian New Year’s Eve campaign “Wishing Tree” started in Russia on November 15. Applications began to be accepted at midnight, and by the middle of the day their number amounted to more than 2 thousand, which is an absolute record for all the years of the project.
The “Christmas tree of desires” is installed in government institutions, volunteer centers, and at major events. The action involves children aged three to 17 years with disabilities or those whose diseases threaten their lives, as well as orphans, children from low-income families and senior citizens with a health condition that threatens life. The role of Santa Claus is played by politicians, businessmen, and also officials.
