Two people died in a fire in an apartment building in Blagoveshchensk. This was announced on Monday, January 3, by the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Amur Region.
According to the ministry, a house on 50 Let Oktyabrya Street caught fire. Six minutes later, the fire was localized, and after 16 minutes the fire was completely extinguished.
After examining the scene, rescuers found a man born in 1985 and a woman born in 1987, who later died.
In extinguishing the fire, 15 personnel and 4 pieces of equipment were involved, as well as rescuers of the EMERCOM of Russia in the region, consisting of eight people and two pieces of equipment from the department.
The reasons and circumstances of the emergency are being investigated. An inspector of the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work in Blagoveshchensk is working on site.
The day before, a fire broke out in a private house in the village of Tugolesskiy Bor, Shatura, near Moscow. Three people died, including two children. Two more people – a child and an adult – were injured.
