The Murmansk Transport Prosecutor’s Office began an investigation in connection with the violation of the rights of passengers at the railway station in Murmansk. This was announced on Saturday, January 8, by the press service of the North-West Prosecutor’s Office.
It is clarified that security measures were strengthened at the railway station during the New Year holidays. A queue formed while passing through the frames of the metal detector and introscope. Because of this, several people missed the trains.
“The transport prosecutor’s office will check all the circumstances, assess the actions of the railway station employees and the transport security service, and if there are grounds will take response measures,” it was reported.
Earlier, on December 31, the St. Petersburg Transport Prosecutor’s Office began checking the observance of passengers’ rights due to the delay of the Rossiya and Aeroflot airlines at Pulkovo airport. More than 20 flights from the airport were reportedly detained.
