An accident involving a bus and a car occurred in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, four people were killed. This is stated on January 12 in a message on the website of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident occurred on Wednesday morning near the village of Koshurnikovo, Kuraginsky District.
“As a result of an accident, four people were killed in the car,” the police said.
As added in the press service of the department, on the 150th km of the Sayany route, a shuttle bus №106 Krasnokamensk-Koshurnikovo-Artemovsk and a passenger car Nissan Almera collided.
The deceased are spouses born in 1961, as well as two minors born in 2005 (their grandson and his friend). There were 15 people on the bus, three of them sought medical help.
As noted in the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office, according to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was the departure of Nissan Almera into the oncoming lane, where there was a head-on collision with a PAZ bus.
At the scene of the accident, an investigative and operational group of the police and the heads of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the traffic police are working.
Earlier on Wednesday, a car “Gazelle” of the funeral services service collided with a Volvo truck on the federal highway R-255 “Siberia”. Three people died at the scene.
Also on Wednesday, another accident in the Irkutsk region occurred with the participation of a regular bus and two heavy trucks. Three passengers of the bus were hospitalized. There were 40 people on the bus in total.
