In Primorye, eyewitnesses filmed a meeting with a large tiger. He was noticed in the Terney region in early January on a snowy road.
According to the author of the Instagram video maru.krim, the predator was observed for about forty minutes.
Specialists of the Amur Tiger Center said that the place where the inhabitants of Primorye met a tiger is “one of the most tiger-like”, but such a long meeting is very rare.
The institution noted that, “apparently, the tiger likes itself very much and can no longer keep such beauty a secret,” the Zvezda TV channel reports.
The Amur tiger is on the verge of extinction and is included in the International Red Book.
At the end of December, a new tiger appeared in the Amur Region. The hunter noticed his footprints in the Selemdzhinsky district. Presumably, the predator moved to the Amur region from the neighboring Khabarovsk Territory.
