The state company Kabil de India inaugurated its administrative offices in the Catamarqueña capitallocated in Maipú at 1,100, within the framework of its Lithium Exploration and Development Project in the province.

The opening ceremony was attended by the governor Raúl Jalil, together with the Secretary of the Ministry of Mines of the Government of India, Kantha Rao; the ambassador of the Republic of India in Argentina, DIESH Bhatia, local and Indian businessmen, among other authorities.

Kabil will carry out a lithium exploration project in Catamarca –In Cortaderas, Fiambalá- over the next few years, and the opening of these administrative offices are part of their investment plan.

During the inauguration of the headquarters, the highest Indian mining authority, Khanta RoHe argued that “India has invested for the first time in Lithium in Argentina in the projects that are located in Catamarca. Our goal is to do operational projects as quickly as possible to attract more companies to invest here. I have confidence that soon, more companies in our country will get to invest in Catamarca. ”

For its part, the governor Raúl Jalil He highlighted the relevance of this foreign investment by mentioning that “India is the fifth economy of the world and is likely to exceed some more country in a short time.” He highlighted the mining potential of Catamarca and pointed out that “We need to encourage exploration, for that we will also work together with India to achieve a deeper geological map to explore.”
