In the Saratov region in the city of Engels, a five-year-old boy was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds on his body, including in the chest, abdomen and neck. This was reported on February 12 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Saratov region.
“On this fact, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30 – p. “c” part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder of a minor, obviously for the guilty person in a helpless state),” the message says.
The police detained and brought to the investigation department the 29-year-old mother of the injured child.
The criminal investigation is ongoing.
In July 2019, a seven-year-old girl was hospitalized in Ingushetia with numerous bruises and injuries. According to preliminary data, the child was beaten in a foster family, although the guardians themselves denied guilt.
