The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov was discharged from the Central Clinical Hospital (CCH). As the politician himself said on Wednesday, February 16, he feels fine.
“Yes, I was discharged. I feel fine. I am doing work,” Zyuganov told RIA Novosti.
A day earlier, Nikolay Kolomeytsev, the first deputy head of the communist faction in the State Duma, spoke about Zyuganov’s health. He said that the leader of the Communist Party feels good.
As on February 11, a State Duma deputy, secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Sergei Obukhov, said that the communist leader was in the hospital with signs of SARS. He noted that computed tomography showed no lung damage.
On the same day, the head of the party’s press service, State Duma deputy Alexander Yushchenko, told Izvestia that Zyuganov went to a planned hospitalization on the recommendation of doctors when the first signs of a cold appeared – a runny nose and cough. He noted that he could not say about the results of Zyuganov’s tests for coronavirus because of medical secrecy.
At the same time, Izvestia’s source in the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that Zyuganov was indeed in the hospital, but the cause was not the coronavirus. He explained that the leader of the party “periodically undergoes the necessary preventive treatment.”
