Divers could be responsible for the sabotage of Nord Stream, research by several media outlets suggests. How does it feel at 80 meters depth? A professional deep sea diver answers.
Arthur Hollmann is a commercial diver. He is well versed in the depths of the sea where such a covert operation as the Nord Stream sabotage took place. So far, little is known about what exactly happened on September 26, 2022. NATO quickly deemed the explosions on the gas pipelines “the result of intentional, reckless and irresponsible acts of sabotage.” But the question of who is specifically responsible for this remains unanswered.
Arthur Hollmann is a deep sea diver and was in the Navy himself for 20 years. Today he is self-employed and runs the company in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which among other things removes leftover ordnance under water.
