What’s green and smells like fish? Bremen niche. That’s clear after this weekend. For a long time it had looked very good for the Greens in the polls. In the end, they still only got 11.9 percent, losing 5.5 percentage points. And now everyone is looking at Berlin and asking: What does that mean for the Greens as a whole? Chairman Omid Nouripour remains calm on Monday: “It is relatively clear that a lot of what shaped this election result was also state-political and affects Bremen.”
