Israel’s military says it has intercepted 99 percent of the missiles from Iran. Tehran has sent “more than 300 threats of various kinds,” says Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari. “The Iranian threat has been matched by Israeli air and technological superiority, combined with a strong, combative coalition that has collectively intercepted the majority of threats.”
Of the 170 unmanned missiles that Iran has sent, “zero have penetrated Israeli territory.” Dozens were shot down by Israeli fighter jets, by Israeli air defense and “the air force and air defense of our partners.” Of the more than 30 cruise missiles that Iran fired, none entered Israel.
There were also attacks from Iraq and Yemen, but they did not reach Israel, the spokesman said. Dozens of rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel. Nobody was injured. “Over the past six months we have worked closely with our partners, primarily Centcom of the USA, Great Britain and France and other countries that were active tonight,” explained Hagari.
