They smeared the facade and sprayed messages: demonstrators attacked a golf club by Donald Trump. The reason is the Gaza plans of the US president.
Pro-Palestinian activists have damaged a golf club by US President Donald Trump in the Scottish town of Turnberry. The club house was sprayed with red color and the green was dug up in places, reported the British news agency PA. In addition, “Gaza is not for sale” was written on the lawn in huge white letters.
A group called Palestine Action complained to themselves. “While Trump tries to treat Gaza like his property, he should know that his own property is within reach,” said the activists at short message service X.
Donald Trump wants to make Gaza the “Riviera of the Middle East”
The police in Scotland examines the case. A damage to the golf course and a building in Turnberry was reported to you early Saturday morning at around 4.40 a.m., the police said on request. “The investigation continues.”
In February, Trump had proposed to permanently locate the more than two million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip outside the coastal area devastated by the war, while the United States should take up responsibility for the development of the area and should open it into a “Riviera of the Middle East”. Trump also spread a video with a AI-generated future vision of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinians and Arab states strictly reject the plans.
