The ex-US Open winner, who has not played a match on the ATP Tour since June 2021 due to a wrist injury, ranks 52nd. He also held this position on March 23, 2015.

The 29-year-old from Lower Austria announced his comeback at the earliest for the tournament in Indian Wells, which starts on March 10th. The top ten in the ranking remained unchanged, Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to lead ahead of Russian Daniil Medvedev.
