The quarter-finals of the DFB Cup are coming up. The two top favorites and winners of the last three years, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, are no longer in the running. Nevertheless, the encounters promise a lot of excitement. Already on Tuesday, March 1st, Union Berlin meets FC St. Pauli in the stadium at the old Försterei. The game between the Köpenickers and the third-placed team from the second division will kick off at 8:45 p.m. ARD broadcasts the duel between the two cult clubs from 8:15 p.m. Ester Sedlaczek will be the moderator.

DFB Cup: Three duels on Wednesday evening

The three remaining games will take place on Wednesday. After the derby defeat against Werder Bremen, Hamburger SV welcomes KSC at the Volksparkstadion from 6:30 p.m. This is the only quarter-final match that will be exclusively on Sky. At the same time, Hannover 96 meets the title favorites from Leipzig. This game will also be available to watch for free. The private broadcaster Sport1 has secured the rights here.

In the only Bundesliga duel on Wednesday evening, VfL Bochum and the sports club from Freiburg meet. The game in the Vonovia-Ruhrstadion will also be shown on the public broadcaster. Kick-off on ARD is at 8:45 p.m. Just like the game the night before, this game can also be streamed without registering in the ARD media library.

ARD and Sky offer live streams

Anyone who has taken out a long-term subscription to the Sky pay channel can watch all the games alongside free TV here. In the live stream, these can also be accessed via the “Sky Go” app. For football fans who no longer want to commit themselves, Sky also offers a “Supersport Ticket”. For 29.99 euros you can follow the DFB-Pokal for 30 days as well as the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga and the English Premier League.

The football platform “One-Football” is also offering a pay-per-view option this year through a partnership with Sky. For 3.99 euros you get the right to access the Sky stream of the selected game. After the final whistle, the entitlement ends without further subscription traps.
