The 26-year-old from Linz won her lead in 52.34 seconds and was only 17/100 above her personal best.

With the fourth-best lead time, the Upper Austrian is back in action in the evening session and will face Dutch top favorite Femke Bol in the second semi-final. Magdalena Lindner, on the other hand, was eliminated over 60 m.

The 22-year-old finished sixth in her heat in 7.44 seconds and missed out on 30th place overall. the ascent at 6/100. Lindner missed a new personal best in the “Ataköy Arena”, which is currently 7.36 seconds. The Swiss indoor world champion Mujinga Kambundji won Lindner’s lead in 7.18 seconds.

“Didn’t expect that”
