For Teresa Stadlober and Mika Vermeulen, the World Championships in Planica did not go according to plan after illness, but the finishes over the long distances at the weekend were impressive.
For Stadlober, eighth place over 30 kilometers with a mass start felt “like a medal”. Vermeulen achieved a strong result over the men’s 50 kilometers in 19th place. “I’m proud of that,” said the Styrian.
