When FC Blau-Weiss Linz moves into its new home in the summer, it will be “Hofmann Personal Stadium” be called. Today, Thursday, the second division soccer team announced the new, old stadium sponsor for the new arena.
The personnel service provider based in St. Florian has already adorned the blue and white alternative stadium on the association’s facility with its logo. Even then, the company was assured that if there was interest, it would also advertise the new stadium as its namesake – an opportunity that was seized. The partnership lasted three years.
“We have been supporting Blue and White for several years. A major building block was laid two years ago with the naming of the Hofmann Personal Stadium on Daimlerstrasse. The positive development can be seen from all sides and we are happy to help shape it”says Helmut Herzog, Managing Director of Hofmann Personal.
Scheiblehner extended until 2025
Gerald Scheiblehner will set up the Linzers in the new stadium: his contract has been extended until 2025, as the club also announced today. “The decision was not difficult for me. We have a team with highly talented players, a support team with a lot of passion – I just really like going on the pitch. In addition, we have gained new energy with Christoph Peschek. I like being in a place where I am surrounded by motivated people”, said Scheiblehner about his decision. Now he wants to concentrate fully on what is happening on the pitch again: “We have big goals.”
BW Managing Director Christoph Peschek is also happy about the extension of his successful trainer: “The handwriting of the trainer is clearly recognizable. In the past few weeks I have been able to form my own opinion that the development and the path we have taken are the right ones. I am enthusiastic about him personally and professionally. It was also important at this stage of the season to have clarity on the head coach’s position.”
