Regional football league WSC/Hertha sets the course for the future: Harun Sulimani, who is still active as a striker this season, will become head of sport at the third division club from the trade fair city.
Whether the 31-year-old will play the one-two with his brother in the coming season is an open question: coach Emin Sulimani has not yet extended his contract, which runs until the summer. It will not happen that both sit opposite each other at the negotiating table. “Someone from the board will take over the coaching negotiations. I’m currently still part of the team, I’m just too close. I’m currently taking care of potential newcomers,” explained neo-sports director Sulimani.
Of course, the Noch-Kicker would like his brother to be available for further cooperation with the Welsers in the end: “He decides that for himself, but we would all be happy if he stayed.”
Harun Sulimani will also remain active in the Upper Austrian lower house – not with WSC/Hertha, but in a lower league: “I don’t want to give it up completely, but I won’t play football in the same way as before was the case.”
