Next bad news for SV Guntamatic Ried this season: The Innviertler have to do without defender Tin Plavotic in the final phase of the fight for relegation in the Bundesliga.
In the most recent home game against Altach, the 25-year-old had to be replaced early in the game due to injury. The diagnosis is now known: Plavotic suffered a torn tendon in his rear thigh and will therefore be out for several weeks.
It is questionable whether the native of Vienna will ever play again for the Vikings. If the defense chickens were relegated, they would probably not go into the second division.
