Argentine tennis player Francisco Comesaña advanced today to the Skopje Challenger final, in North Macedonia, after beating Russian Evgeny Donskoy 6-3, 6-1 in the semifinals.

Comesaña, born in Mar del Plata 22 years ago and ranked 184 in the ATP world ranking, took an hour and 20 minutes to defeat Russian Donskoy (235).
The man from Mar del Plata will play the final this Saturday against the Hungarian Mate Valkusz (283), who won the other semifinal against the Swede Dragos Nicolae Madaras (241) 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).
The Argentine tennis player won two Challenger titles in his career, both last year, the first in Corrientes and the second in Buenos Aires, after winning both finals against his compatriot Mariano Navone.
The Skopje Challenger is played on clay courts and will award prizes of 73,000 euros.
Argentine tennis players have won seven Challenger tournaments this year, the category next in importance to the ATP tournaments.
