HSV trainer scares cameraman away when he gets too close to him

After the 3-0 defeat in the first leg of the relegation against VfB Stuttgart, HSV coach Tim Walter gathered the team to give a speech. When a cameraman got too close, Walter robustly shooed him away.

His team was hopelessly overwhelmed that evening: HSV coach Tim Walter had to watch from the bench as the team went down 0:3 against VfB Stuttgart in the first leg of the relegation. And was lucky that the defeat was not higher. Nevertheless, Walter was combative after the game. Immediately after the final whistle, he gathered his players in a circle to make a speech. A lot of coaches do it that way.

HSV coach Walter energized

A cameraman from the broadcaster Sat 1 wanted to show the audience the speech up close. With the camera on his shoulder, he approached the circle of players. On TV you suddenly saw Walter up close in the middle, as if you were there yourself. The moment lasted only briefly because Walter obviously felt disturbed. With clear gestures he scared the cameraman away and for a moment looked as if he wanted to attack him. But the TV man quickly understood and withdrew.

The man cannot be blamed for the fact that Walter was under stress. After the fifth year in the 2nd division, the Hamburgers have most likely gambled away promotion again. Last year, HSV failed under Walter once in the relegation. In order to make it this time, a “miracle” is needed, as HSV manager Jonas Boldt noted after the game. The second leg in Hamburg follows on Monday.
