The PA news agency reported this on Wednesday evening. Fans are therefore not allowed to carry the flag with the Star of David or the flag of Palestine into the stadiums. The aim is to prevent supporters of either side of the escalating Middle East conflict from expressing their protests in the stadiums.

Despite demands from leading politicians, London’s Wembley Stadium was not lit up in Israel’s national colors during the England national team’s recent international matches. England’s players wore black armbands during the game and a minute’s silence was held before kick-off to remember the “innocent victims of the devastating events in Israel and Palestine”.
