The Russians won a single mixed at the World Cup in Oberhof

Russian biathletes Anton Babikov and Kristina Reztsova won the single mixed at the World Cup in Oberhof (Germany). This was announced on Saturday, January 8, by Sport-Express.

Babikov and Reztsova covered the distance in 41 minutes and 37.1 seconds with 12 extra rounds and one penalty loop.

The second place was taken by the team from Austria (they were 41.5 seconds behind), the Ukrainians closed the top three (+1.03.6; 0 + 12).

On the eve of the Russian biathlete Alexander Loginov won gold at the World Cup. The Russian covered the distance of 10 km in 27 minutes 8 seconds, having made one mistake on two firing lines. The second was Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin (6.5 seconds back; two penalties). The top three was closed by the Norwegian Sturla Legrade (+15.1; 1).

On December 18, Russian biathlete Eduard Latypov won a silver medal in the pursuit race at the World Cup in Annecy. The Russian was in the lead after the first shooting, but then made two penalties, and at the finish line was 0.1 seconds ahead of the Norwegian Vetle Christiansen. The first in the race was the Frenchman Quentin Fillon-Maillet.
