The star of the Cleveland Browns football team shares a dramatic video on Instagram: With tears in his eyes, Hakeem Adeniji leans over his wife, holding their dead son Semiu Zade Adeniji in their hands. The boy was stillborn – five days before the birth date, doctors could not detect a heartbeat in the infant.
On Monday, the NFL man shared the tragic news with his fans on Instagram. He writes: “Almost a week ago we lost our little boy. There is anger, sadness and emptiness. The fact that he is gone and will never come back has hit home…” Further: “I will never live to see as he grows up. And he will never be able to read his diary that I wrote for him. I miss him and I will miss him every day of my life.”
Particularly heartbreaking: “That was the worst day of my life – everyone knew how much I wanted to be a dad.”

He continued on Instagram: “It’s very difficult for me, but that’s life. We thank everyone who sends us prayers and strength. I still want to be a dad more than anything in the world. Semiu was born on November 2nd, five days before her due date. Kayla ends her post by saying, “When I held him for the first time, I couldn’t believe how amazing he was. I had dreamed of seeing his face for so long. It looked like he was turning into mine Sleeping poor – he looked so peaceful.”
