Users reported a malfunction in the Sberbank Online application. This follows from the data of the Downdetector service, which monitors failures and outages on popular Internet resources.

Complaints about malfunctions in the bank’s services began to arrive at 01:00 Moscow time. Users from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine reported failures. Most of the users noted the incorrect operation of online banking and the application. In particular, they “disappeared” cards.

In addition, the bank’s customers complained that they could not complete the transaction to transfer funds.

When trying to perform an operation, a notification appeared: “Technical work is underway. For technical reasons, you cannot perform this operation until 06:00 02/20/2022 Moscow time.

On January 25, StormWall reported that hackers had regularly carried out powerful DDoS attacks on Russian banks throughout the past year. As a result, there were failures in the work of credit institutions and their applications.
