The Korean company Hyundai introduced a new Staria minivan in Russia.
As stated in a press release received on February 17 by the editors of Izvestia, the distinctive features of the Hyundai Staria exterior are minimalist streamlined shapes and expressive optics of the car. In the front part, a long horizontal strip of daytime running and parking lights stands out, stretched across the entire width of the body.
The length of the car is 5253 mm, width – 1997 mm, height – 1990 mm. The wheelbase reaches 3273 mm. By default, the minivan is offered in an eight-seat interior design. The sliding rear seats can be folded down. The cargo volume of the trunk is 831 liters, the maximum is about 4000 liters with the rear seats folded down.
The new Hyundai Staria minivan is equipped with a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 177 hp. or a 3.5-liter gasoline engine developing 249 hp. Passenger versions of the minivan are only equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
In Russia, Hyundai Staria will be available in Family, Lifestyle, Prestige and High-Tech trim levels. In addition, customers will be offered a top-end Premium version.
Family package includes stabilization system, digital instrument panel with 4.2-inch color screen, multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, dual-zone climate control, rear-view camera, cruise control, keyless entry system and selection system drive mode. The price of this version is from 2,999,000 rubles.
A minivan in the Lifestyle configuration can be ordered at a maximum recommended retail price of 3,199,000 rubles. This version features side curtain airbags for three rows of seats, LED headlights, a wireless smartphone charger and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Prestige version includes power side doors, 12-way power driver’s seat, blind spot monitoring, leather seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear LED lights, sunblinds on the side doors and third-row windows. The cost of such a configuration is from 3,399,000 rubles.
The High-Tech version includes ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and multimedia system, additional storage in the front panel, automatic climate control and a driver-rear passenger video link function. The price of a car in this configuration is 3,699,000 rubles.
The exclusive Premium version combines the maximum equipment of the High-Tech package, as well as stylish design solutions, atmospheric interior lighting and special finishing materials. Buyers can choose from four interior trim colors, including two unique ones (light gray and brown). A car in this configuration costs from 4,049,000 rubles.
On November 19, it was reported that Hyundai Motor at the AutoMobility LA Auto Show in Los Angeles introduced a new concept sports electric crossover Seven.
Externally, the car resembles the new minivan Staria. The prototype received complex multi-element optics in the form of “parametric pixels”. Environmentally friendly materials are used in the design of the car. For example, the body is covered with bio-paint, and the interior design uses bamboo wood, bio-resin and copper.
