The second category with the greatest amount of sales was that of Utility Sports Vehicles (SUV), with 9,496 units marketed between January and June. In this case, the growth was 44%, which demonstrates a clear market preference for this type of vehicles.
The utilities, meanwhile, recorded 9,442 units sold, just below the SUV segment. This group experienced a slight year -on -year decrease of 3%, in line with the stability trends presented by this type of vehicles in the region.
The truck segment also had a good performance, with 1,417 units sold in the semester, which represents an increase of 21% compared to the same period of 2024. This rise could be related to the reactivation of sectors linked to transport and logistics.
According to the specialists of the sector, the second semester will present challenges linked to economic stability, regional exchange rates and the possible evolution of international prices. However, the partial balance of the year leaves good signs for the automotive trade and the linked industry.
