The American company Ford has introduced a new version of the Ranger pickup truck, which received the Raptor prefix. This was reported on February 22 by Carscoops.
According to the publication, the new version differs from the regular Ranger in appearance by a protective body kit made of unpainted plastic, large wheels with off-road tires, as well as nameplates with the name of the version on the rear fenders and the cargo platform cover.
The interior has sports seats and a heated multifunction steering wheel. In addition, the Ford Ranger Raptor comes with a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch center touchscreen with Ford SYNC4 infotainment system, and a 10-speaker B&O audio system.
The new Ford Ranger Raptor for the European market will be powered by a 284bhp 3.0L turbocharged petrol engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
On October 14, it was reported that serial production of the Ford Transit electric van will begin in Russia in 2023.
According to Adil Shirinov, President of the Sollers Ford JV, international companies, such as Ikea or those Russian companies for which the transition to electric transport is part of the development strategy, can become users of the Ford Transit electric van.
