The ability to pay for car parking has appeared in the Moscow Metro application. This was announced on February 22 by the official Telegram channel of the Moscow Department of Transport.
“Now you can pay for parking in a couple of seconds in the Moscow Metro app — quickly and conveniently. While the service is in test mode, you can pay for street parking in the capital,” the message says.
It is noted that the launch of payment for parking in the Moscow Metro application will help metro passengers who sometimes use a car save their time. You can build any route, buy a ticket for a long-distance bus, pay for travel, and now you can park in one application.
On September 24, 2021, the Administrator of the Moscow Parking Space (AMPP) told Izvestia that drivers using the Moscow Parking application were able to find their cars moved due to emergency or repair work more than 1.5 thousand times, and also due to extinguishing fires, cleaning roads and holding mass events.
The car search function in the application was launched in the summer of 2020.
