The Russian automaker AvtoVAZ has raised prices for its cars since March 1.
According to Autonews, the most affordable model Lada Granta has risen in price by 86 thousand rubles – up to 684,900 rubles. Prices for Lada Vesta start at 1,032,900 rubles, which is 170 thousand rubles more than before.
The Lada Xray hatchback in the basic configuration now costs at least 1,009,900 rubles (+87 thousand rubles). The SUV Lada Niva Travel now costs at least 1 million rubles, which has risen in price by 124 thousand rubles in the initial version – up to 1,003,900 rubles.
The Lada Largus station wagons have risen in price more than other models, prices for which now start at 1,076,000 rubles, which is 147 thousand rubles more than before. The Lada Niva Legend SUV in the basic configuration has risen in price by 83 thousand rubles (from 776,900 rubles).
On February 11, AvtoVAZ announced that it does not plan to produce a new generation of the Lada Granta, and that it will be replaced by a completely new family of B-class cars with its own name.
