With 21 business days of activity, the data for March showed that the automotive terminals produced 48,746 units, 29.4% more than February and increased 12.9% if compared to the 43,160 units that were produced during the 20 days of operations of March 2021.
In the accumulated figure for the first quarter, the sector produced a total of 105,058 passenger and utility vehicles, that is, 17.7% more than the 89,277 units it produced in the same period of 2021, detailed the report released this afternoon.
In the third month of the year, the sector exported 24,623 vehicles, that is, it registered an increase of 23% compared to the previous month, and grew 10% compared to the volume recorded in March 2021.
Thus, in the first quarter, the terminals exported 53,945 units, 9.3% more than the 49,373 units that were sent to various markets in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, in wholesale sales, the sector sold 33,827 units to the dealer network in March, 33% more than the previous month, and 4.5% above the volumes of March of the previous year.
